Version 2.2 · Last updated 6 November 2026

How Contracker handles your personal data. This is a draft. It is checked and completed before Contracker goes live.

1. Who we are

Contracker is a service of Klanderman ICT Advies BV, Pijlkruidstraat 2, 8245 JN Lelystad, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 09103680. You can reach us at info@contracker.nl.

2. What we keep

  • Account: your name, email address, password (stored as a hash) and language.
  • Profile: your phone number and address, if you fill them in.
  • Subscription: your plan, payments and subscription invoices.
  • Contracts: the details of the contracts you add, such as supplier, dates, term, notice period, price and your notes.
  • Documents: the files you upload and the text read from them.

Data you had better not upload: some contracts contain a citizen service number (BSN), for example a rental contract, an employment contract or a health insurance policy. We do not need a BSN, and the law does not let us process it freely. So make it unreadable before you upload; the app reminds you of this too. If Contracker still finds a BSN in a document, contract or email, we make it unreadable in all text and data we keep, and that document is not read by the AI service. We cannot reliably change the original file. It stays stored encrypted until you delete it, and the app asks you to do so and to upload a version without the BSN.

3. Why we keep it

To give you access to your account, to keep track of your contracts, work out their deadlines and costs, send you reminders before a notice period ends, to charge for your subscription and to send you the emails that belong to it.

4. Who helps us

  • Mollie: handles the payments.
  • Laravel Cloud (Laravel Holdings Inc.): hosts Contracker in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • TransIP: hosts our mail server in the Netherlands.
  • Anthropic Ireland, Limited: Dublin, with processing in the United States, only when the AI features are switched on. Reading contracts: the text of a contract goes to Claude, so it can recognise the main details. If you upload a photo or scan, we first read the text on your own device, in your browser, without an AI service. That text then gets the same protection as the text of a PDF. Your own name, email addresses, addresses and postcodes, bank account numbers (IBAN) and citizen service numbers are made unreadable first. Names of other people in the contract can still appear in the text. Claude also drafts negotiation emails, using only the contract's details, and answers to support questions. There too, email addresses, addresses, bank account numbers and citizen service numbers are made unreadable first. Supplier replies are summarised on our own server, without an AI service. A negotiation email is only sent after approval. Email to privacy@ and security@ never goes to the AI.

Anthropic: our agreement is with Anthropic Ireland, Limited. The data is also processed in the United States. For that, the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission (decision 2021/914) apply, which are part of Anthropic's data processing agreement.

Laravel Holdings Inc.: our data is stored in Frankfurt, but Laravel is an American company. Laravel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (checked on 6 November 2026).

5. How long we keep it

Your account stays until you ask us to close it. Subscription invoices and payments are kept for seven full calendar years, as Dutch tax law requires.

Your contracts and documents stay until you delete them or close your account. Records of AI readings (without the text) are kept for 24 months.

6. How we protect it

Your phone number, address, contract numbers, notes, the documents you upload and the text read from them are encrypted with a key of your own. Two-factor authentication is available for your account.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at info@contracker.nl. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Changes

When this statement changes, the date at the top changes too.
