How the notice deadline is calculated

The notice deadline is the last day you can give notice before the contract renews automatically. Contracker calculates it from the end date, the notice period and the renewal rules you enter for the contract.

For consumer contracts, Dutch law often allows shorter notice periods after the first term. For business contracts, what the contract says usually applies.
